Incredible Pollinators

PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT. MORE TO FOLLOW.

Who doesn’t love bees? And for good reason, these little workers are vital to life on Earth. Yet, are bees are under incredible pressure from disease, predators introduced from aboard, and manmade threats including the use of neonicotinoids. They need our help. In return they will provide us with honey – the nectar of the Gods!

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SUITABLE SITE FOR OUR COMMUNITY APIARY - CAN YOU HELP?

The first step in our project is to identify a suitable site to locate our community hives. We need land, either in, or just on the outskirts of the village, where the flight path of the bees will not be a bother to people. If you think you know a suitable location, we'd love to hear from you.

Once a home for the bees has been identified, a team of volunteers will care for the bees. Honey will be for sale with all our profits going back into the Incredible Edible scheme. If you are interested in learning how to look after bees and be part of our volunteer team, or you would like to register to buy our local honey, please contact us.
