Free Food for Everyone

Incredible Beds

One of the cornerstones of the Incredible Edible philosophy is to create a more resilient community by encouraging as many people as possible to grow their own fruit, vegetables and herbs – no matter how small or big the garden. In the meantime, our ‘propaganda beds’ are located around the village, making use of unloved, unused bits of land. These beds are cared for by our Incredible Volunteers but all the food grown is free and can be picked by anyone.

Our aim is to keep scaling up the project until we can point to a sizable output of crops year on year. Perhaps one day we will even have our own market garden!

And so, as the project expands, so will the number of beds. You can check out what is growing this year and where via our illustrated map below.

What's growing now?

The Spring Season is upon us, planting is getting underway, look out for signs in the beds that will tell you what is growing and when it is ready to be picked.
