Are you keen to keep your own chickens? Do you keep chickens but would like to learn more from a professional? Then this masterclass is for you!
Incredible Edible Hooky is holding its first learning event on this topic, on 15th July 2018. This two hour class will be run by Anton de Beer of Country Farm Eggs. We will learn about how to keep chickens and deal with all the common problems which arise.
There will be some light refreshments (tea and cake) provided half way through the session, with a chance to mingle and ask Anton any questions you might have about the subject.
We are asking for a £5 donation to cover costs and this can be paid via the Paypal button, or a donation can made in cash on the day if you prefer. If you wish to book, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
NB: There will be a limit of 15 people for this event.
Come and meet some of our volunteers at this popular, annual village event, which celebrates the best of our local apples. See apples pressed (even bring your own for pressing), sample apple themed food, enjoy the bar-be-que and join in the fun and games. A great family event.
Incredible Edible Hooky will have a stall at the village fair, to be held as part of this year's Music at the Crossroads event. Come and sample some freshly baked food, using local ingredients, meet some of our volunteers and learn more about the Incredible Edible philosophy.
On 25th March we will be holding our first working party of the year. It is a time to get some of your new projects for the coming year off the ground and extend existing projects. This year we will be extending the East End beds by adding a third and building a new apothecary / herb garden at the health centre.
There will be all sorts of jobs to do including: helping construct the beds, shovelling soil and compost, helping to lay pathways, planting, siting water butts and building a tool store. If you want to come along and get involved in anyway, drop us a line at email@example.com
